The Quakertown Farmers Market is excited to announce our Free Summer Concert Series. Sunday, July 29th Low Totem perform from 11am-1pm. This 4-piece band from Philadelphia entertains with a wide variety of covers from pop and rock to dance and ballads. August brings us the Classic Rock band The Kings of Sunday on Saturday, August 4th from 11am-3pm. Avilion a returning favorite, performs on Sunday, August 5th from 11am-1pm. Avilion gets you dancing with a mix of 80’s, 90’s, classic rock and pop. Step 13 features a play list of Alternative Rock on Saturday. August 11th from 11am-1pm. Saturday, August 18th we have Kara Hartzell & George Young. The duo will entertain us from 11am-1pm with a mix of folk, blues, jazz, rock and classical music. Tool Shed returns on Sunday, August 19th from, 12pm-2pm. Tool Shed plays Old Time Appalachian music on the saw and fiddle. And on Sunday, August 26th we have Low Totem, another returning favorite. Low Totem is an amazing Cover Band that performs a wide array of music. They will take the stage from 11am-1pm to finish out our August concert series. Our 2nd Annual Family Fun Day/Touch a Truck FREE community event at the Quakertown Farmers Market takes place on Saturday, August 4th from 11am-3pm. This year the event has a circus theme with 2 performances by the Give & Take Jugglers’ Little Circus. Each of the Little Circus shows feature aerial fabric, trapeze, juggling, and tight wire. In addition to the Little Circus, Tootsee the Clown will create balloon animals/art and face painting from 11am-1pm. Enjoy crafts, games, prizes, special sales, raffles, giveaways and music on the outdoor stage by the Kings of Sunday. Plus enter to win Family 4 packs of Iron Pigs tickets! The Touch a Truck portion of the event brings large vehicles from local construction companies, fire companies, L&L Crane, Levy Bus Company, J Dogg Hauling & Trash Removal and Richland Township plus visits from the Quakertown and Richland Township police departments! Children will be able to not only meet our first responders but, climb in, honk horns and run the sirens of these amazing trucks and vehicles. The Buck’s County Sheriff’s Office will be here with their Kids Care ID Program from 11am-3pm. The Upper Bucks YMCA, Quakertown Library and Servepro will join the fun this year with extra activities.
