The juried street festival welcomes 160 artists, 5 stages of live music, interactive arts, demonstrations, a food court and more. Artists from near and far are encouraged to apply. Anticipating a crowd of 20 thousand people over the course of the two days, artists have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their art to a vast audience. The festival selects a wide range of artists and various mediums are represented, including fine art, glass, woodworking, metal, pottery, illustration, photography, jewelry, textiles, interactive and recycled arts. Since 1991, the festival has raised funds to support other local events, beautification efforts and donations to nearby cultural institutions. The history and popularity of this festival coupled with a traditionally busy weekend in historic Doylestown makes this a weekend not to miss.
