The BB&T Bank Bus will be coming to the Bucks County Opportunity Council on April 9th and 10th. The BB&T Bank Bus, a 40-foot mobile financial classroom, will be at the Bucks County Opportunity Council’s Bristol office, located at 721 Veterans Highway on Tuesday April 9th, , from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm; and at the Bucks County Opportunity Council Quakertown office, located at 136 C Mill Road in Quakertown on April 10th, from 8:30 am until 2 pm. Visitors may also access a free annual credit report and education, and utilize computers to file their 2018 taxes, using My Free Taxes. The bus is equipped with the latest in computer technology and staffed by banking professionals. Bank Bus visitors also will have an opportunity to open a BB&T checking or savings account if needed for their tax refund. BCOC offers emergency and stabilization assistance, case management and other support service to low-income families. Free Tax preparation is also offered later in the day at these two locations- In Bristol beginning at 5:30 PM on Tuesday April 9th, and in Quakertown beginning at 4 pm on Wednesday April 10th.
