Janet L. Mintzer, President & CEO of Pearl S. Buck International spoke to the students at Linden Hall in Lititz, PA. Founded in 1746, Linden Hall is the oldest all-girls school in the U.S. and has a widely diverse student body representing 32 countries and 16 states. Ms. Mintzer spoke about Pearl S. Buck’s inspirational life and the work Pearl S. Buck International does in carrying out her legacy of bridging cultures and changing lives. Two months ago on September 7, 2017 Janet spoke at another all-girls school, the Chongshi Girls’ School in Zhenjiang, China, where Pearl S. Buck went to school as a child and later taught. Today, Janet Mintzer, President & CEO of Pearl S. Buck International serves as Honorary Principal of this historic Chinese school. Over the past 11 years, child sponsors through Pearl S. Buck International have helped students with the greatest financial needs at the Chongshi Girls’ School through the one-to-one child sponsorship scholarship program. Additionally, Pearl S. Buck International facilitates international exchange programs for students from Zhenjiang, China.
