Michener Art Museum Presents Friday Night Band Jams Gina Sicilia performs on April 27; Wineskin performs on June 8 DOYLESTOWN, PA -The Friday Night Band Jam series at the Michener Art Museum continues this spring with two live performances from artists with local roots: blues vocalist Gina Sicilia, who grew up in Bucks County before moving to Nashville, will perform on April 27, 2018 at 8 pm, and Wineskin, a rock-n-roll band, will perform on June 8, 2018 at 8 pm. A doyenne of the genre, whose voice has been described as warm, flexible, and emotionally nuanced, Sicilia can be seen touring the globe and performing at major blues festivals internationally. She was nominated for the Blues Music Award for Best Debut Artist, and she remains in the upper echelon of modern female blues vocalists. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Wineskin is a five-piece rock-n-roll band known for its electrifying live performances. The band's unique style combines rock with multiple other genres, drawing from the rich heritage of the American musical landscape.
