The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc.
Problem Gambling Education
Program Overview:
A focused training initiative on gambling-related issues crucial in identifying and providing needed services to individuals and businesses.
Learning Objectives:
Describe the array of gambling opportunities available in Pennsylvania and Bucks County. Discuss the prevalence of those affected by problem gambling in the work force. Identify warning signs of problem gambling and be able to identify those signs in individuals they serve. Describe strategies for problem gambling prevention, intervention, and treatment and identify ways to integrate strategies into the workplace.

Program Agenda:
Breakfast and Registration
9:00 –10:30a.m. An overview of gambling opportunities, prevalence rates, warning signs of problem gambling and the effects on the workplace and businesses.
10:30-10:45a.m. Break
10:45a.m.—12:00p.m. Guest Speaker to share his gambling problems and the personal impact on his life.
12:00– 12:15p.m Q & A Session / Conclusion
