Event Description: Quakertown Farmers Market announces there 17th Annual Food Drive will commence on July 20th and run through August 12th. As always the Market is asking shoppers and merchants alike to clean out their cupboards and pantry to donate canned goods and dry goods to assist our needy neighbors in this time of economic hardship. All donations may be brought to the Market Office located at Exit #4, Wednesday and Thursday 9a.m.-4:30p.m., Friday and Saturday 9a.m.-9p.m. and Sunday 9a.m.-5p.m. All foods collected will be donated to the Quakertown Food Pantry and the local Salvation Army Headquarters here in town to help the needy, area residents. Together, we can make a difference to someone less fortunate then ourselves.
