The Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2011 Upper Bucks Foodie…A Culinary Adventure on Thursday, October 20th at Sands Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Quakertown, PA.
The Foodie is an evening of food, spirits, entertainment, and networking. There will be samplings of an array of scrumptious gourmet food, top local breweries and wineries will also participate by treating guests to refreshments complimenting the savory samplings. And live entertainment will be provided by Lou Pompilio.
Proceeds raised from this event benefit the UBCC and Leadership Upper Bucks Program, Educational Programming, Scholarships and Mini-Grant Programs benefiting Quakertown, Palisades, and Upper Bucks County Technical Students. Past awards include: $500 Annual Student Scholarships to our local high school seniors, Strayer Middle School Life Skills Class Café, UBCTS student trips to Biloxi to help with the Katrina rehab effort, Anti-Bullying Assembly at Haycock Elementary School, (2) $1000 Culinary Scholarships, Annual Support of PA Free Enterprise Week, Palisades High School Eco Adventure Team, Multiple State and Regional Skills Competitions, PA Free Enterprise Week Scholarships, and Regional MLK Day of Service Project.
