Join us for an open house in celebration of the grand opening of the new Upper Bucks Visitor Center from 10am-4pm on Saturday, May 18. Conveniently located within Quakertown's Historic District, the center is easily accessible from major highways and serves as the northern gateway to Bucks County. In conjunction with Quakertown's Arts Alive! Festival, the open house will feature a trolley stop during service from the historic Quakertown Train Station to the visitor center. In addition, John Fries Rebellion presentions with re-enactors will take place at 11 am and 2 pm at McCoole's Red Lion Inn located 1/2 block from the center along with carriage rides, street performers and vendors. Other activities for the day include the opening of the historic Burgess Foulke House, Liberty Hall and the Richland Library Company - all within a 1/2 block walk of the center. Free parking located at the rear of the shopping center at Mill and N. Main Streets with trolley shuttle service from the visitor center to downtown Quakertown
