State Senator Bob Mensch will be joining State Representative Justin Simmons in co-hosting a Veteran and Family Resource Expo from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10th at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Campus, 2809 Saucon Valley Road in Center Valley.
The expo will feature exhibitors from federal, state and county government agencies, non-profit organizations and veteran groups – over 25 organizations in all. Exhibitors include, but are not limited to, the following: St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Lehigh Valley Health Network, DeSales University's ACCESS program, the Lehigh County Office of Veterans Affairs, Operation Homefront of Pennsylvania and Delaware, Pennsylvania CareerLink, Congressman Charlie Dent, Pennsylvania Securities Commission, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, PHEAA, and the Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission. Representatives from my office will be able to conduct property searches and answer questions regarding the Pennsylvania Treasury's Bureau of Unclaimed Property, the Bayada Nurses who will offer FREE blood pressure screenings and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants will offer assistance to veterans and their families.
