Event Description: The Bucks County Wine Trail is offering a tasty challenge for wine enthusiasts both near and far: Purchase a Passport to Bucks card and enjoy a complimentary tasting at all nine Bucks County wineries. Beginning Nov. 1 and continuing through April 30, visitors who purchase a Passport to Bucks card will earn punches at each winery visited. Once all nine wineries have been visited and the card has nine punches, it can be entered into a drawing for one of several Bucks County prizes, including: a VIP night at Parx Casino ($200 at Parx Grill and $200 in free slot play); a family four-pack of activity passes to Shady Brook Farm; an overnight stay at Holiday Inn in Quakertown and dinner for two at Maize Restaurant in Perkasie; a weekend stay at Golden Plough Inn in Peddler’s Village and two tickets to a concert at New Hope Winery; a hot air balloon ride for two; and a wine gift basket. About Passport to Bucks Passport to Bucks is a new initiative aimed at sharing all that Bucks County has to offer with the wine-loving community, region and visitors. Participants can purchase a Passport for $20 at any of the nine wineries (Buckingham Valley Vineyards, 1521 Durham Road (Route 413), Buckingham, Pa 18912; Crossing Vineyards and Winery 1853 Wrightstown Road, Newtown PA 18940; New Hope Winery, 6123 Lower York Road, New Hope PA 18960; Peace Valley Winery, 300 Old Limekiln Road, Chalfont, PA 18914; Rose Bank Winery, 258 Durham Road (Route 413), Newtown PA 18940; Rushland Ridge Vineyards, 2665 Rushland Road, Jamison PA 18929; Sand Castle Winery, 755 River Road, Erwinna PA 18920; Unami Ridge Winery, 2144 Kumry Road, Quakertown PA 18951; and Wycombe Vineyards, 1391 Forest Grove Road, Furlong, PA 18925). Passports can also be purchased at Visit Bucks County, 3207 Street Road in Bensalem, Pa., 19020. Passport holders will receive a free wine tasting at all nine of the wineries (a $65 value). Visits to all nine wineries during the contest period of Nov. 1, 2016 through April 30, 2017 qualifies Passport holder for entry into a drawing.
