OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE- Metals QUAKERTOWN, PA Description Penn Stainless Products has an exciting opportunity for an experienced metal's salesperson to maintain and expand our existing customer base in Northeastern Pa, and Eastern NY. This is a straight salary position, with an opportunity for rewards. A little about us first: Founded in 1949, Penn Stainless Products, Inc. was originally a fabrication business trading as Schrader's Stainless. In 1979, this 5,000 square foot business was acquired by the present ownership and focused on distribution and processing. Slow structured growth contributed to the move in 1983 and again in 1994 to the present location - a 225,000 square foot facility in Quakertown, PA. In 2015, we completed construction on a 30,000 SFT facility in Western Pa. Today, as a full-line service center, Penn Stainless Products, Inc. practices on-going system improvements to insure that we supply our customers with the highest level of stainless steel products and in-house processing.
Experience Required:
Qualifications • Metals industry experience required with service center experience preferred • Outside sales and service experience in a B2B environment • Experience with the region's machining and fabrication sector a major plus • Technical background in metals highly preferred • Must be willing to service Western Pennsylvania • Must be able to travel overnight during weekdays if required • Possess exceptional customer service skills • Will need to blend well into the industrial, blue collar/small business environment that you will be servicing • Prefer someone who lives in the territory • Polite but persistent in your sales techniques
