Penn Community Bank is proud to announce that Dorothy Jaworski, Director of Treasury and Risk Management, has been named President of the Financial Managers Society (FMS) Philadelphia Chapter, while Assistant Treasurer and Investment Officer Christopher Carroll has been named the organization’s treasurer. Founded in 1951, the Philadelphia Chapter of the Financial Managers Society is a nonprofit organization that works to educate and connect financial professionals from local community banks and companies that support them. The chapter sponsors educational events that offer CPE credits, co-sponsor women’s networking events, and grant scholarships to outstanding students heading to college. Both Jaworski and Carroll previously served in officer roles with the organization. “Penn Community Bank is proud to have so many industry leaders on our team. Dorothy and Chris’ involvement with FMS Philadelphia provides the opportunity to share their wealth of talent and experience with other financial professionals throughout the region.” said Penn Community Bank President and CEO Jeane M. Vidoni who attended the FMS officers’ installation event along with several bank executives and team members. In her role as Director of Treasury and Risk Management at Penn Community Bank, Jaworski runs the asset liability management, oversees its investment portfolio, and is responsible for enterprise risk management and more. As Senior Vice President, she served in the financial industry for more than 40 years. Jaworski received an undergraduate degree from West Chester University and earned a master’s degree in finance from Temple University. She lives in Collegeville. As Assistant Treasurer and Investment Officer, Carroll is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the bank’s assets and liabilities as well as the liquidity and investment portfolio positions of the bank and its subsidiaries. He has nearly 15 years’ experience in banking roles, including customer service, branch management and finance. Carroll holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Temple University.
