St. Luke’s University Health Network broke ground in May 2018 on the newest hospital in Bucks County. After surveying patients and consulting business leaders, the Network has arrived at decision on a name for the new campus: St. Luke's Upper Bucks. St. Luke's Upper Bucks Campus is a 3-story, 131, 000 square-foot facility currently under construction on the corner of Route 663 and Portzer Road. “The name of the new hospital was important to all involved,” said Dennis Pfleiger, President of the St. Luke’s Quakertown and Upper Bucks campuses. “St. Luke’s Quakertown has been a vital part of our community for almost 25 years, and we are passionate about growing the healthcare options in the region and positively affecting even more lives.” St. Luke’s Upper Bucks Campus, due to open in the fall, will be a patient and family-friendly, modern hospital, offering comprehensive care and advanced technology to area residents. Services at St. Luke's Upper Bucks will feature: 16 bed emergency room 40 bed medical/surgical unit Intensive Care unit 4 operating rooms Interventional Radiology The nearby St. Luke's Quakertown Camus will remain open while undergoing renovations allowing for a greater emphasis on outpatient services in the future.
