Our first Antiques Appraisal Day for 2020 is Saturday, January 11th from 12pm-2pm in Dept. #201. Ashley King and Jim Meyers, members of the Pennsylvania Antiques Appraisers Association will be here to appraise your items and share interesting historical facts and stories. Appraisals are verbal only, given on a first come first serve basis. Appraisals are one item for $6.00 or two items for $10.00, two items max. The event is cash only. The Quakertown Farmers Market in conjunction with the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Business Card Exchange on Friday, January 31st from 11am-1pm. The Business Card Exchange will take place in the newly renovated Event Space in Dept. #201 at the Market. Attendees will enjoy a sampling of food and wine from our restaurants plus enter to win a large gift basket filled with merchandise and goodies from Market. The Business Card Exchange is Free for Chamber Members or $15 for Non-Members. Go to https://www.ubcc.org/ to register. Join us for another amazing Wrestling Event with the World-Wide Wrestling Alliance on Saturday, January 25th. Tickets are $15.00 each for ringside and $12.00 each for general admission. Seating starts at 6pm with a 6:30 bell time to get the night started. Come out for a night of high-flying kicks, back flips, punches and more classic wrestling moves! The Bloodmobile will be parked outside Entrance #18, near the Garden Center. Appointments are preferred, but not needed. You can register online at redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: qmart or call 1-800- RED CROSS. All blood types are needed. Be a hero, donate a pint and save a life! Save the date for our FREE Shredder Event on Saturday, March 28th from 11am-1pm. Richter Mobile Shredding will be in the North Lot, near the Garden Center, ready to shred your personal documents free of charge! Start your Spring cleaning early by getting rid of old, unwanted personal documents. Richter is a member of NAID (the National Association for Document Destruction). Please have your papers boxed or bagged. Limit 2 large bags or boxes per person.
