The Quakertown Farmers Market has decided to postpone or cancel a few of our Spring Events in light of current events. The Spring Craft Show scheduled for this weekend will be postponed until Fall. The Fall Craft Fair will be October 17th & 18th. Our 45th Annual Egg Hunt is postponed until our Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 1st. Photos with the Easter Bunny are cancelled, the Bunny will stay home this year to decorate Eggs. Comedy at the Q! will be postponed until May, the date is to be determined. And WWWA Wrestling is cancelled until further notice. The Quakertown Farmers Market invites everyone to hop on over to stock up and save for the holidays. We will be OPEN AN EXTRA DAY on Thursday, April 9th from 9am-7pm for your holiday shopping convenience. Our Butchers have the freshest meats and choice hams; don’t forget to check out our farm fresh produce, baked goods and of course a huge selection of Easter candies. The Quakertown Farmers Market is joining forces with the Red Cross for a Blood Drive on Sunday, March 22nd from 10am-3pm. The Bloodmobile will be parked outside Entrance #18, near the Garden Center. Appointments are preferred, but not needed. You can register online at redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: qmart or call 1-800- RED CROSS. There is an urgent need for blood as blood drives are not getting the amount of donations needed to keep the supply full. All blood types are needed. Be a hero, donate a pint and save a life! Time for Spring cleaning, with our FREE Shredder Event on Saturday, March 28th from 11am-1pm. Time to sort through your old, unwanted personal documents and have them destroyed with Richter Mobile Shredding. The Mobile Shredder will be in the North Lot, near the Garden Center, ready to shred your personal documents free of charge! Richter is a member of NAID (the National Association for Document Destruction). Please have your papers boxed or bagged. Limit 2 large bags or boxes per person.
