Quakertown Farmers Market 2nd Annual Fall Festival, Best Baker Contest, Scarecrow Contest, Fall Craft/Vendor Fair and Red Cross Blood Drive Join us for our Fall Festival on Saturday, September 26th from 11am-3pm. This year our Festival is designed for families to Stay & Play or Grab & Go! Our event includes an Exotic Animal Display by Peaceable Kingdom Petting Zoo, Balloon Art by Tootsee the Clown, Gem Mining by The Lucky Dutchman Gem Mine, Pumpkin Decorating with pumpkins from our “Pumpkin Patch”, Fall Crafts, our 2nd Annual Best Apple Pie Baker Contest, a DJ, and the start of our first ever Scarecrow Contest. All crafts and pumpkin decorating kits are individually packaged for safety. Calling all amateur bakers! It’s time for our 2nd Annual Best Apple Pie Baker Contest. The Contest is held on Saturday, September 26th at 1pm as part of our Fall Festival. Bakers 16 and older can enter the contest for the Best Apple Pie. Pies must be brought to the outdoor stage area at 12:45pm to qualify for the 1pm judging. Entries will be judged on Flavor, Texture, Outside Characteristics, Originality and Process. Registration Deadline is September 20th, 2020. The fun continues at the Qmart with a Fall Scarecrow Contest! Shoppers can create their own handmade scarecrow at home and bring them to the Market to enter our contest. All scarecrows will be displayed around the Market starting Saturday, September 26th thru Saturday, October 31st. Shoppers will vote for their favorite scarecrows and the top 3 will be announced on Halloween. CASH Prizes: 1st Place $100, 2nd Place $50 & 3rd Place $25! Complete Rules & Entry Blanks located in all the Entrance Flyer Boxes at the Market. The Quakertown Farmers Market is hosting a Fall Craft/Vendor Fair by Jennifer Lynn & Company on Sunday, September 20th from 11am-4pm. The Craft & Vendor Fair will be in the North Lot across from the Garden Center. The event will have a variety of vendors selling handmade and retail items. Shop small, shop local! Enjoy shopping for your holiday gifts at this amazing outdoor shopping event. Don’t forget, once you’re done shopping outside, to come inside to pick up some fresh butcher cut meats, farm fresh produce, homemade baked goods or grab a bite to eat at one of our 14 unique restaurants. The Quakertown Farmers Market is joining forces with the Red Cross for a Blood Drive on Friday, September 25th from 10am-3pm. The Red Cross will be setup in Event Room #201, just inside Entrance #1. Appointments are preferred, but not needed. You can register online at redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: qmart or call 1-800- RED CROSS. All blood types are needed.
