The Quakertown Farmers Market would like to thank everyone who donated to our Fall Food Drive. This year our shoppers helped us donate almost 400 pounds of food for the Quakertown Food Pantry! Your generosity helped supply local families with much needed food during these hard times and helped make their holiday a little brighter. The Market will be OPEN an EXTRA DAY on Wednesday, November 24th from 9am-6pm. Let us take the stress out of your holiday entertaining! Bring your dated receipts to the Market Office at Exit #4 to receive your free gift. Shop Small encourages shoppers to support small businesses not only during the holidays but all year long. Ho!Ho!Ho! Santa arrives on Saturday, November 27th at 11am in the Q-Court, located at Exit #19 for photos. The first 100 children ages 12 and under, that stop by to visit Santa on his first day visiting from North Pole, will receive a special gift from Santa! Santa had the Elves make extra special gift bags for the children to kick off the holiday season. Then, starting Sunday, November 28th, Santa will move to Event Room #201, Exit #1 for visits and photos every Saturday and Sunday until December 19th. Saturday Santa hours are 11am until 8pm and Sundays 11am-5pm. Photos are $4.00 each or 3 photos for $10.00. Santa is excited to bring back his Storytime and Letters to Santa this year! Children can join Santa in Event Room #201 on Saturday, December 11th at 1pm, to listen to him read the beloved classic, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and enjoy sugar cookies, baked by Mrs. Claus. Santa will also be LIVE on Facebook as he reads to the children. Plus, Santa has set up his North Pole Mailbox in Event Room #201 to make sure he gets all his letters from the local children. Children are invited to write to Santa so he can send them a personalized letter! Parents, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope, with your child’s name, so Santa can make each child feel special when they receive their letter.
