Grand View Auxiliary’s recent Designer Bag Bingo event raised $14,000 to benefit Breast Cancer Support Services at Grand View Health. Three-hundred bingo players took part in the event. Guest speakers included Jeffrey Howard, Manager of the This Is Us Together Capital Campaign, and Jackie Winderman, RN, BSN, Breast Cancer Navigator for Grand View Health’s Breast Cancer Program. In addition, Barbara Matkowski, Bingo Event Chair, who helped arrange the annual event, thanked the event sponsors, auction donors, volunteers and guests for their participation and generous support. This partnership provides families with access to CHOP pediatricians in Grand View Hospital’s emergency department, pediatrics unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU.)
