Prior to leaving the DA’s office, Mr. Jenei was a Chief Deputy District Attorney and Chief of the Homicide by Vehicle Unit for more than 10 years. He has been recognized for his experience in vehicular crimes, including DUI. He is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association and the PA Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. While in that post, Mr. Jones held many roles including Chief of Special Investigations. Additionally, Mr. Jones was a member of the Special Victims Unit (SVU) where he worked with child and adult victims of sexually violent crimes, and headed the Elder Abuse Division of the SVU. As a member of the Bucks County Crimes Against Older Adults Task Force, Mr. Jones worked with law enforcement and other professionals at the county, state and federal levels to help train individuals and coordinate a collaborative approach in recognizing and preventing the abuse of older adults. He has been a regular speaker at the Annual William J. Neff Symposium on the Prevention of Crimes Against Older Adults – lecturing before hundreds of nurses, social workers, administrators, police officers, counselors, lawyers and other professionals involved in insuring the well-being of older adults. Mr. Jones’ extensive experience in the District Attorney’s Office allows him to offer his clients a particularly unique perspective in a wide range of criminal defense matters. In addition, Mr. Jones was also the head of the Expungement Unit within the District Attorney’s Office for several years during his tenure in that office, reviewing and analyzing all of the expungement matters in Bucks County, as well as formulating specific office procedures. Mr. Jones has translated that experience to a robust expungement practice, allowing him to assist clients seeking expungement to successfully navigate the expungement process throughout the state. A member of the Pennsylvania and Bucks County Bar Associations, as well as the Bucks County Chapter of the American Inn of Courts, he is a cum laude graduate of both West Chester University (B.S. Accounting 2004) and Widener University School of Law (J.D. 2007). In 2016 and 2017, Mr. Jones was selected to the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list.
