Univest Insurance, a subsidiary of Univest Bank and Trust Co., recently announced the appointment of Reggie Reiter as senior vice president and Commercial Lines team leader. Reiter will use his vast industry knowledge and extensive team management experience to further develop the agency’s producers, enhance the value provided to commercial clients and drive new business. In addition, Reiter will be responsible for expanding Univest Insurance’s risk management platform. To support this goal, Brian Deutsch has also been hired as risk management and safety consultant. Deutsch brings more than 20 years of risk management and loss control experience to his role, most recently with Lackawanna Insurance Group and Cincinnati Insurance Companies. Deutsch is a graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene Management. He resides in Allentown. Reiter previously worked at Nationwide Insurance where he led several key initiatives and served on the regional management team. Prior to joining Nationwide, Reiter worked with USLI as second vice president. He has earned 11 insurance designations including CPCU, ASLI and ARM. Reiter graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Marketing. He resides in Collegeville.
